👨🏼🎓 One of the areas of our activity is anti-corruption education. We are sure that our youth should understand the negative impact of corruption, and most importantly, know and be able to prevent it. Within this direction, we organized and conducted anti-corruption training in higher education for displaced educational institutions.
During the training students:
🔹 learned about international standards for preventing corruption;
🔹 got acquainted with the functions of anti-corruption bodies;
🔹studied the role and place of the anti-corruption commissioner in the anti-corruption infrastructure;
🔹 made a profile of the anti-corruption commissioner at the institutions of higher education and got acquainted with his tasks.
Also, students had the opportunity to feel empowered and a whistleblower in various model situations and felt how and why to protect whistleblowers.
Conducting such anti-corruption trainings for students is an important step towards forming civic consciousness, ensuring a legal culture and preventing corruption in our country. Therefore, we will continue to participate in similar events and hold many interesting anti-corruption events for students and beyond.
The event is organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine within the framework of the UN Program for Reconstruction and Peacebuilding with funding from the European Union.
