Representatives of the FID joined UN Women Connect 2024 ✨
It was a space for dialogue and exchange of experience with more than 50 colleagues from public organizations and international partners.
📚 During three days, representatives of the Foundation:
- improved skills in effective communication, writing grant applications and fundraising;
- researched the practices of gender-responsible governance;
- shared the experience of implementing projects related to the training of female bus and truck drivers;
- got acquainted with the UN Women in Ukraine Strategy for 2025-2029;
- noted the key achievements of women and girls within the framework of the 140th anniversary of the women's movement in Ukraine;
- networked with other public organizations.
💙 Thank you to UN Women in Ukraine for the invitation. The knowledge and partnerships gained will help us work effectively towards gender equality and recovery, helping to build a society where everyone has equal opportunities and support.
The UN Women Connect 2024 event is organized with the technical support of UN Women in Ukraine and with the funding of the UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Aid Fund (WPHF), the Governments of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the USA, the European Union and the UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict.
